Vehicle Service Contract

It’s no surprise that most major repairs are needed after the original factory warranty has expired, which means you will have to deal with all the inconvenience, time, energy, and expense of those repairs. Depending on the age and mileage of your vehicle, you can purchase up to 150,000 miles of coverage. The Vehicle Service Contract begins on the purchase date and expires according to the term and mileage selected, whichever occurs first, and may include a deductible depending on the option selected. You can select from a national network of over 6,000 authorized service centers or any licensed repair facility in the U.S. or Canada.

PLAN FEATURES

Three plans come with the following additional features to keep you moving.

ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION COVERAGE: Reimbursement of up to $40 per day for up to 10 days per covered mechanical breakdown. Coverage includes reimbursement for public transportation, rental car services, or ridesharing services using a licensed rental agency, authorized dealer, or ridesharing service.

TOWING COVERAGE: Reimbursement of up to $100 in towing charges per covered mechanical breakdown.

TRAVEL COVERAGE: If you’re more than 100 miles from home when you experience a covered mechanical breakdown, reimbursement of up to $100 per day, up to $500 per occurrence, for food and lodging.

FLUIDS COVERAGE: Replacement of necessary fluids, oils, greases, lubricants, and approved air conditioner gases needed in conjunction with a covered repair.

IMPROVED RESALE: Each plan is fully transferable to a subsequent owner, making your car more appealing to potential buyers.

FINANCING: The cost of the selected plan can be included in the financing of your vehicle.

OVER 6,000 SERVICE CENTERS NATIONWIDE: Receive service at greater than 6,000 authorized service centers or any licensed repair facility in the U.S. or Canada.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This optional Vehicle Service Contract will not pay or reimburse for mechanical breakdowns caused by misuse, abuse, negligence (including the negligence of any repair facility), improper towing, lack of maintenance of the failed covered part, contamination, damage as the result of continued operation with an overheat condition, lack of coolant or lubricants, lack of oil viscosity, sludge, restricted oil flow, salt, rust, and rust damage, environmental damage or chemicals. No payment or reimbursement for the correction of oil consumption, repair of worn rings, or any repairs for the reduction in engine efficiency that must be performed on your vehicle when a mechanical breakdown has not occurred.   • TOLL-FREE CLAIMS SERVICE: Our representatives will provide you with claims service, authorization, and access to an authorized repair facility near you. Just call 800-327-5172.
  • NATIONAL COVERAGE: Enjoy peace of mind with a Fidelity Warranty Services Vehicle Service Contract, knowing that you are covered anywhere in the U.S., its territories or possessions, or Canada.
  • DIRECT PAYMENT: Participating dealers can be paid directly for authorized repairs. You do not have to pay and wait for reimbursement.

Road Hazard Tire & Wheel 

Enjoy your journey knowing your tires and wheels are protected. Even the most cautious drivers encounter a flat tire or damaged wheel along the way. Help safeguard your tires with the Road Hazard Tire & Wheel Protection Plan.

PLAN COVERAGE OPTIONS

  • DELUXE COVERAGE: The Road Hazard Tire & Wheel Protection Plan repairs or replaces tires damaged by: road hazards; road surface conditions such as potholes, cracks, and breaks; and debris on the road surface. This plan provides for the replacement of wheels when or if: the wheel cannot be balanced, will not hold air, or the damage has affected the structural integrity of the wheel. The maximum lifetime benefit of the Road Hazard Tire & Wheel Protection Plan is $5,000. Deluxe Coverage does not cover cosmetic damage to tires and wheels.
  • PREMIUM COVERAGE: Includes Deluxe Coverage plus Cosmetic Damage to an alloy or steel factory wheel. Additionally, the maximum lifetime benefit of $5,000, as mentioned in Deluxe Coverage, does not apply.
  • ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION*: In the event the vehicle cannot be repaired within the same day, the Road Hazard Tire & Wheel Protection Plan provides reimbursement, up to $50 for a single day, for the cost of alternate transportation incurred because of a covered tire and/or wheel repair. Alternate transportation includes reimbursement for public transportation, rental car services, or a ridesharing service.* Excludes shop and parts delay
  • TOWING/ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE REIMBURSEMENT: In addition to the benefits provided under the Road Hazard Tire & Wheel Protection Plan, you receive reimbursement of up to $50 per occurrence, for towing and/or roadside assistance expenses incurred in connection with a covered tire and/or wheel.
  • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This information is intended to provide only an outline of the types of coverages, exclusions, and limitations of the Road Hazard Tire & Wheel Protection Plan just described and should not be relied upon when purchasing this contract. The Plan is optional and expires according to the contract term selected or when the lowest tread depth reaches 2/32nds of an inch, whichever occurs first. Coverage is limited to the original set of tires on the vehicle at the time of purchase and new replacement tires. Any tire and/or wheel failure caused by accidents, theft, vandalism, misuse, negligence, abnormal wear and tear are not covered. This contract is transferable to another owner but not to another vehicle.

Pre-Paid Maintenance

The Car Care Service Plan may include the following:

LUBE, OIL, AND FILTER: Helps keep your vehicle operating smoothly and helps ensure the long life of your engine.

CLEAN AND ADJUST BRAKES: Helps keep your brakes operating at peak performance.

 MULTI-POINT VEHICLE INSPECTION: Helps identify any need for preventative maintenance before it’s a major problem.

TIRE ROTATION (PLUS PLANS ONLY): Helps ensure your tires wear evenly and last longer.

CROSS COUNTRY MOTOR CLUB DRIVER’S ONECARD MEMBERSHIP: Standard Plans receive one free year of membership without key/key fob replacement service. Plus Plans receive free term-of-contract membership with key/key fob replacement service.

These are some of the features that may be included with the optional Car Care Service Plan. For exact coverages, exclusions, and limitations, please review the contract itself and Driver’s OneCard Guide to Membership. *In the event that your vehicle key and/or key fob is lost, stolen, or destroyed, Driver’s OneCard will pay the cost of repairing or replacing the key and/or key fob up to $400, per single incident per year of the term of the contract.

Courtesy Guard Theft-deterrent

COURTESY GUARD is an ultraviolet self-adhesive label applied to the door jam, under the hood and trunk of the automobile. Once applied the label leaves a U.V. footprint, visible with black light after the label is removed from the automobile. This proven system makes it extremely difficult for thieves to remove the unique vehicle ID number.

COURTESY GUARD comes with a Limited Warranty’. Three product form options:

  • $2,500 / Three-year
  • $5,000 / Three-year
  • $5,000 / Five-year

If, within the term of the contract, (three or five years of ownership), the vehicle is stolen and not recovered within 30 days, COURTESY GUARD will provide up to the maximum amount to the owner. In addition, many automobile insurance companies may offer rate discounts for vehicles that have COURTESY GUARD systems. It is not transferable or cancelable.
